How to appease the Search Engine gods

Does Google ever seem like a Greek goddess who demands burnt offerings from her fearful worshipers?

If you’ve ever done any Search Engine Optimization, you know what it’s like to get sucked into all kinds of time-wasting activities, hoping they’ll someday pay off.

And if you’ve ever wondered what it might have been like to toss a damsel in the volcano, hoping rain would finally come . . . well, maybe you do know what that’s like :^)

I’d be hard pressed to name any topic with more urban legends, flim flam men and mystical freaking voodoo than SEO!

Eric Ward did link building for Jeff Bezos and Amazon.com Books back in the mid 90′s, and I’ve arranged for him to do a free webinar on link building strategies that produce fast results, improved SEO rankings and FREE traffic.

Thursday, Aug 12, 2010 12:00 PM Central time (1pm Eastern / 10am Pacific / 18:00 London)

He’s going to explain some dire pitfalls that most SEO guys are currently selling as “really cool hot strategies.” Some of these strategies will get you banned and almost none of them produce lasting results.

After this webinar is over, I’ll also send you Eric’s new 30-page “how to” manual for link building (this is a Perry Marshall exclusive!) This guide will show you how to add to and diversify your site traffic with two new sources of FREE traffic: (1) traffic from Google, and (2) traffic from the sites who link to you:

Enjoy!

I read your post Perry and you really know how to hit the wounds in your copy.

    Brilliant!

Maybe now you could redirect your positive focus into something worthwhile other than internet MLM, (and don’t use the excuse that you need to be filthy rich to help out, because if you believe that, then you are kidding yourself.

    God bless you lost sole.

      Hey John,

I challenge you on a bunch of topics here. First, you don’t know how to spell “soul” so it’s hard to take you serious. And to be honest, Perry is the one of the few honest souls in the internet marketing industry who actually has the goods.

This is not MLM, because there is not pyramid scheme where people sign up to sell products but then really get rewarded for signing up others.

I instead say, God bless you, you’re a lost soul. Because not listening and acting on Perry’s advice will leave you broke.

I read your post Perry and you really know how to hit the wounds in your copy.

    Hi

Today’s seminar with Eric Ward I thought was very
educational. On the seminar info it said that a
handout would be given to all those who attended.

I seemed to have missed the PDF handout. Can you direct me where to download it?

    Thanks

No one could’ve given a more accurate description of what it’s like to work at SEO activities… it really is shrowded in obscurity!

For me, I try to get all the basic groundwork right, try to offer quality content as my ability permits, and then let the gods at search engine heaven notice.
