Untold Secrets of Google’s Content Network

Glenn Livingston and Jered Klima of Rocket Clicks had a fascinating discussion about little-known gotchas and opportunities in Google’s content network.

It’s a very worthwhile 26 minute interview, it includes a handy free PDF cheat sheet and it’s here: http://www.payperclicksearchmarketing.com/content-network-curse/

Quick and dirty summary:

  • Pausing content campaigns is a big no-no. Find out why, and what to do instead
  • Split testing on the content network is much different than it is on Google. Knowing the right way will not only get you better ads, but exposure in more places
  • The content network isn’t “mechanical”, it’s more like an ecosystem. Discover how to nurture it.

Thanks for sharing Perry. It’s absolutely a very good interview. I never knew those things. Also, Glenn’s another interview “Maximum Adwords Results in Minimum Time” too is a great one.

Thanks Perry, and Glen and Jered.
Confirms what I’ve been doing for a while. Although not Split-testing is a BIGGIE I hadnt thought of. So a HUGE thanks from me, and for all the clients campaigns this will assist too.
