A most unusual way to achieve writing mastery

Maybe you’ve hard my story of John Carlton turning me over his knee and spanking me (in a non-sexual way, of course) to pound the principles of great salesmanship into my brain. (“Perry, this copy is just horrible. Geez, you’ve gotta take your inner salesman out for a walk every now and again.”)

Back then the only people who knew who of John was were direct marketing insiders like Rodale and Boardroom Reports.

Now John’s one of the most-swiped writers on the entire Internet.

And he’s still bending us incorrigible children over his knee, but now he’s got people assisting him in doling out the punishment.

He’s offering a Simple Writing System coaching program and I do love his program. I participated in the one he put on last spring and I loved his format; and when one of my guys, Drew Bischof, wanted a copywriting course, that’s the course I UPS’d over him.

John’s got a team of mentors doing the teaching this time around which include Ed Dale, Russell Brunson and Joe Polish. (Seriously, he got JOE to do this? Joe Polish is like, near-celebrity status. I’ve gotta wonder what hideous blackmail story is behind this…)
