Writing Emotional Google Ads

How to Hard-Wire Emotional Power into your Ads

The power of your ads has a LOT to do with how fast they bypass “thought processes” and nail core emotions.

This is precisely why there are so many ads on TV with scantily clad women. Cleavage bypasses all thought and strikes core emotions hard-wired in men.

You may have noticed that I don’t use any scantily-clad women in my marketing. But I still use this principle in other ways. You should too. Because nobody does anything unless they get emotional about it first.

Here’s an example of Google ad that cuts straight to core emotions:

Win Your Wife Back
“You’ll never change,” She Told You
Here’s How to Prove Her Wrong.
www.KeepYourMarriage.com

Or how about this one:

Bacon Salt
Everything should taste
like bacon.
www.baconsalt.com

Did you know that BACON bypasses all thinking processes and speaks directly to the lizard brain?

Don’t you love these? They reach out and GRAB you.

Tomorrow I’ll tell you another secret about bypassing the rational mind and going for emotions. This one works even better when you’re advertising stuff that is FACTUAL. Sound interesting? It is, I promise.

I think I want your quote about bacon etched on my tombstone. (Funnier if my death is because of a heart attack…)
