Saint James’ notes on the Info Marketing biz – Readers Digest version:
Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. (James 3:1)
Solomon on becoming Rich and Powerful:
Listen therefore, O kings, and understand; learn, O judges of the ends of the earth. Give ear, you that rule over multitudes, and boast of many nations. For your dominion was given you from the Lord, and your sovereignty from the Most High, who will search out your works and inquire into your plans.

The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus. He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of others, but God knows your hearts. What people value highly is detestable in God’s sight.

I am not telling this to make you afraid to teach, to have money, or to be influential. Fear is a lousy foundation for anything. If you take me to mean that, then you – who are on my spiritual email list – will be abandoning the world to the rogues and film-flam men.
I’m telling this so you’ll respect the office you aspire to.
Do you aspire to be influential, to have people hanging on your every word, to guide people in their personal lives?
Then cultivate reverence for the responsibility you have as a teacher and a guide. God takes your job seriously. You should too.
Almost every customer of mine desires to be financially successful. Do you?
Then seek to manage your money and your power wisely. Your money and your power will affect many. You will be held to a higher standard than everyone else.
With that foremost in your mind, seek to enlarge your territory as wide as God will allow. Because people out there in the world need great leaders who take their jobs seriously. Everything you do affects thousands. Make the most of this opportunity – it’s the only one you have.

Personally, I’ve always hated teaching or being in the spot light because I wondered why people could not simply pick up a book or experiment themself. I would look at people in the spot light who would glory in themself and found the immaturity interesting if not childish. But then I would see people like say “Jim Rohn” who was doing it for the sheer joy and I understood the difference. When people need help it is infinitely more enjoyable to share what I do and help them learn. I get joy by communicating my passion. They get the learning they need and can share in the fun. I think the trigger is to simply enjoy really helping people grow or get what they need and then everything is in balance. If I had to give up everything in the world and only have or be able to give one thing, it would be the ability to have other people experience the joy, curiousity and facination I’m having in this experience of life. all the best Kevin

In the same chapter, James goes on to say in verse 16, “For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every foul practice.”
I am thinking about about our political leaders. [Choose your side.] Did we not witness last week, on universal television, the very jealousy and selfish ambition that James discuses?
Look no further than our elected officials’ actions regarding life (prenatal and end-of-life), reverence to God, family and truthful words to see the reflection of their soul. A demonic spirit leads to disorder and foul practice.
We are a nation of Christians. It is time for a spiritual revolution. I believe we are in the midst of that, right now.
Somebody in our church read James 3 verse 16 last Sunday and prayed for the spirit of peace to come to the situation. You’re right on the money. Yes I think a spiritual revolution IS underway.
Me, too! For all the drama and crap being covered in the media, for all the political mumbo-jumbo and doom being forecast, there is a solid, growing movement of spiritual knowledge of Good, Love, Harmony, and Abundance being practiced with devotion. It may be quiet, but if we listen, we can hear the soft, sweet voice of Spiritual Reason saying “The time of Love has come. It’s here.” Not mamby-pamby, but like you, Perry, strong, abundant, Grateful and Giving! Thanks, Perry!
