		<description>Hey, Perry –

Happy New Year!

Well... IMO the &#039;truth&#039; is not always &#039;pretty&#039; ... but it’s always the truth regardless of who is telling the story.

Personally I think your lunch and app actions are both brave and brilliant, and I&#039;d imagine that it&#039;s the prevalent time vampires who are doing most of the whining.

The best advice I can thing of its Nike&#039;s slogan and included in the video...

&quot;Just Do It!&quot;

People who believe the &#039;push-a-button-and-get-rich-sitting-around-in-your-jammies&#039; nonsense will allow themselves to be lied to about other things, as well... and if you are not willing to invest in yourself, you have issues no one but you can fix IMO…

Bless you -

		<description>Thank you, Perry, inspiration and valuable material. Your insight into the situation with the media and the recession helped put together two pieces I have been trying to fit.

I really see this time as a purging. I think in 10-20 years the worlds going to be a lot better.

Merry Christmas.</description>

		<description>&lt;strong&gt;Perry Marshall&#8217;s Hiring Process...&lt;/strong&gt;

On December 13, Perry Marshall announced he was looking for help. More specifically, he announced he was looking for an Affiliate Manager and Content Czar.
I was late to the party, but nevertheless enjoyed observing Perry&#8217;s process.

		<description>I came for the AdWords but I bought “The Fly”.

Becki makes an excellent point that may go unnoticed. The “fly on the wall” education she mentions is a HUGE built-in bonus of your e-mails and products. It is the main reason I became a Renaissance Club member.

I (and I’m sure, we) appreciate the educational value of doing business with you and your staff.

Best of the holidays to you and yours. Try to stay warm.

		<description>I wish I&#039;d been thinking that clearly to charge for applicants when I expanded our transcription team. Instead I made the mistake of putting the request out on Craigslist.

You wouldn&#039;t believe the number of people on there who will apply for everything that comes up -- qualified or not! Or ask a zillion questions before they lower themselves to apply.

As a result, I got over 100 applicants and it was a huge time sucker to get it down to a core of people I could work with.

We enjoy doing your transcripts, Perry :-) Gotta love the &quot;fly on the wall&quot; education!

Love the new blog.
