    Bruce @ 7:03 am

I’m not sure if its just me, but I can not get any of the videos in this series to load. I have tried with multiple browsers, but none of them load. Just keep spinning like they want to start playing but never do.

    • June 28

      Drew @ 10:14 am

      Bruce,

Go to Facebook, in the search box type in the word Facebook, the 5th or 6th result that comes up is Facebook fastTrack (product or service), go to the Video tab and watch them there. Please “Like” my page while you’re there. :-)

      Drew

      • June 28

        Dawn @ 11:40 am

        Drew,

I looked for the FastTrack on Facebook, just the way you said to do it but it didn’t come up in the search results. Can you link to your page here?

        Thanks,

    Jonathan Hurley @ 7:25 am

    Thank you Drew and Perry.
This sounds really interesting and thank you for explaining it in very simple terms. I wonder however it is appropriate for B2B. Are there that many business people on Facebook?

  9. June 28

    Mia Carr @ 7:31 am

You guys are super heros! Can’t wait to see the details of this course.

  10. June 28

    Gemma @ 7:32 am

Hi Drew, I got up really early to catch your third video ;-)

I have to say that I am truly impressed with the things you are taliking about. I do have to organize my own website (and organize a Facebook whatsit too) before I even think of bringing people there. That in many ways is a bigger problem than buying clicks, after all if the clicks don’t convert into interest, there’s no point.

This web-selling business is a long learning-curve for me, and I have a very long way to go it seems.

When the first email came through, it mentioned three videos; I am very pleased that you have thought to do more of them. Thanks.

  11. June 28

    waver armstrong @ 7:36 am

WIll my business work on facebook marketing? Scientific instruments for testing carbon and sulfur.

  12. June 28

    Sylvia @ 7:40 am

    Hi,
Thanks for the video. Instead of just slapping on a paypal button on a FB fan page I suggest an add-on called Payvment. It allows you to actually create a shop on your fan page and thereby offer more than one product. Paypal is still used for billing but this option is great when you have more than one product. I’ve tested it myself and it works really well. Very easy to use interface to manage your products.

  13. June 28

    David Wilson @ 7:45 am

I am setting up a business selling various software tools for the document workflow market. Yes I would like more information about your fast track course.

I found this to be very informative and thank you for putting this together.

  14. June 28

    Nate Kirby @ 7:50 am

Social Media marketing is starting to make a *little* sense to me.

When linked-in first appeared (or I first heard about it) I thought “What a great idea, as soon as I get a lead thru this I will pay them money and spend loads of time here getting business” I spent like 20 hours a week for several weeks – no money-no sales; (this was in like 2003 or 2004) – still waiting (but not spending a lot of time there anymore).

It seemed to me that what was missing was the ability to look someone in the eye and shake their hand, and became skeptical that a web site could ever replace those interactions.

While I am still skeptical, the idea of FB trust has me encouraged about social media marketing. Please tell me more about this trust factor.

    Nate

    Joseph J Gomez @ 7:57 am

I just came across something that I would like to be able to advertise on Facebook, but didn’t have much success with my ads in the past. What is the best starting point? Should I go and watch the video you mention that is on Perry’s site, or will the program you’re offering be complete beginning to end for advertising on FB?

    Thanks,

    Joe

    Nate Kirby @ 8:04 am

OK so here is another question.

How do I collect email addresses from a facebook fan page for my business (and I mean collect them outside of facebook)?

    Nate

    • June 28

      Drew @ 10:10 am

      Nate,

Our first Quick Start call tomorrow afternoon will show you EXACTLY how to do that. Step by step how to set this up.

    Chas Dutton @ 8:23 am

    Hi Drew,

At last i’m starting to get my head around FB,

For the last 6 months my seo people have been urging me to give them a FB budget. Drew’s videos reinforces their advice.

The real difference; for me, is that you guys have sorted out the ‘how and why’ stuff.

    Thank you,

    Chas Dutton – UK

If you are directing users to Facebook (something I do “get”) what point do you actually present your offer to the customer or prospect?

  23. June 28

Sarah Jayne Hewitt @ 8:50 am

Another great video…I’ve made notes and will be implementing everything I can. I’d love to be able to join you on the coaching programme – I can’t right now. Hopefully you will be running another one soon and I’ll be able to join in that one..

    Thank you so much.

    Sarah Jayne

    Laura Mak @ 9:09 am

Thank you so much for the awesome video! It was really helpful and useful info – not fluff like many people use a their “giveaway”. So thank you for sharing. I am so bummed that I have an appointment during the time of the call today – will you be recording it so one could listen to it later?

Again, many thanks for sharing the info on Facebook!
    Smiles,

    2) Bid strategy

  27. June 28

    Mike @ 9:30 am

It looks like Facebook Ads is better designed for building a brand and services. How would you promote affiliate products since you want to stay in Facebook (fan pages)??

  28. June 28

    Octavio @ 9:41 am

    Drew,
Are you using this FB knowledge for launches of products like membership sites succesfully?

  29. June 28

    Jack Jarrell @ 9:43 am

Will you be showing us the “mechanics” of setting this up? For example integrating with an auto-responder, shopping cart, wordpress, or linking to course modules whether you send them to your website or not… like what you are doing here with your sales letter/video sales letter modules.

In other words, will your be showing “HOW TO” vs. “WHAT TO” info?

    Thanks

    Jack

    • June 28

      Drew @ 10:04 am

      Jack,

YES we will. Our Quick Start webinar tomorrow afternoon is designed to do exactly that. The coaching will be very hands on, step by step, here’s how to do X.

      Drew

I’m glad I decided to spend the majority of my internet marketing education time on Planet Perry. You seem to stay just a little ahead of the pack.

I was on the verge of inquiring if you were looking at facebook and your opinion of it as a marketing vehicel, and then you come out with this.

    Great. Keep it up.

Is a FB fan page and a FB business page equally effective and the same in terms of Ads and landing pages?

      Annette,

They’re the same. Identical. Just different terminology.

    jimjinright @ 10:13 am

I really look forward to learning more about this subject. My friends and I have struggled with FB where we’ve had some of our Ad’s turned down over 30 times. It seems that there is a certain process to this based on building trust with FB.

I’m looking forward to learning more!

  35. June 28

    Joyce @ 10:31 am

    Great set of videos.
I don’t ususlly add comments to promotional posts, but had to make an exception here.
I was totally uninterested in doing anything with Facebook (have only been to their site twice to look at my daughter’s photos) until watching your very well thought out, very well put together videos.
I’m now very interested in taking a look at your Fast-Track program.
    Thank you.

    kelly Peterson @ 10:35 am

Again excellent video and knowledge you shared! Is getting exciting for me :)
I have a FB personal page for couple years and just decided to share my cooking passion and to turn into business in near future. I just created a new group and just watched your video about Fan page. (yet to figure out how to create a Fan page) Is Fan page different from Group? If so, how to direct the group member to Fan page. as they just signed up as Group members?
Hope this questions contribute to part of the future coaching question.
Would appreciate a immediate tips on your next video about this, thanks a zillion!

    Dear Drew;
I have used YouTube with Friends option but it also is connected to FaceBook and Twitter and LinkedIn. Facebook also posts to all of these places interactively. How do set up a Facebook account other than my name, a generic account that is only connected to one or other of the above?

Presently I have a client who wants to present locally with a projector to notetakers in a foreign country but in English. Since they are seeking certification the attendance is by fee and limited. YouTube is too open to downloading video. Facebook privacy is in doubt because their account list is hacked. LinkedIn is content challenged. Twitter is twitty short text messaging.

What is needed is something like IChat but with slides like PowerPoint, but no video. Maybe slideshow. PDF express or lite. Thomas McClure Professiona llc Film

You confirmed what I suspected. Send the clicks to a Facebook Fan Page. Then take them to the website when they are ready. Different sales funnel than Google PPC.

Hello – What a great course…and Perry has expanded his great professional business with Drew and Facebook – that’s Vision.
Question – You talked of Not Having to Have a Website and still being able to make this work – could you tell me where you go into how this is done – Which Video- or is it on an Email – or is it Still To Come?
Thanks again – all of you are an inspiration of Professionalism, Great Business Sense, and Marketing.

Hello Drew – thanks for getting back on the Quick Start Course tomorrow – I’ve been hoping to be able to take it but recovering from an accident – so, will you be giving it, or other Facebook courses after it? I’m thinking of the Core Level mainly to start.

    Nathan Abraham @ 4:12 pm

Hi Drew – thanks for getting back on my question about whether you will be giving the Quick Start or similar Facebook courses again. Question: What time does the Quickstart course begin tomorrow – and how late tonight or tomorrow -do I have to register?
Question: will the Webinar tonight be recorded and available as a link like the other Webinars?
    Thanks again,

    Drew,

I gave up on Facebook… until last night.

7 of my ads produced 200,000 impressions and ZERO clicks.

Last night, I heard your voice in my head saying
to change my mindset and I wrote a new ad.

Guess what man? 84 clicks today!!!!!
    EIGHTY FOUR!

I know I can work on the conversion from here,
but I’m amazed at the difference.

    Thank you very much Drew.

Hello Drew – I read through one of the pages describing the Course and it said I should have my own Website up (along with an autoresponder). My site is far from being completed and without an autoresponder. including my problem of recovering from an accident.
…But, I’m certainly interested in learning more from you – am wondering if there is a way to “audit” the course perhaps in a few weeks – by advancing my knowledge by paying to listen to the recordings you make of the sessions?
    Looking forward to your feedback,

    Drew,

What are your thoughts on a sandwich page used basically as a buffer that gives people content and then putting a link to your landing page directly under the content?

I learned it from Ryan Deiss’s course and I’m actually going to test sending to a video sandwich page with a url re-direct to a landing page after the video is finished playing.

Just curious to get your feedback on this my friend.

  69. June 29

really informative speech down there. I like it when you only focus on giving info. not like other marketers only focus on promoting and begging the listener to buy their service.

  70. June 29

    Jill @ 8:11 pm

Drew, you make that all seem so “do-able’. Thank you for taking the trouble to explain how facebook might work for businesses.

I am gradually dipping my toe into the shark-infested waters of internet marketing, and readily admit that I’m a dunce when it comes to coping with the technical side of things – I prefer writing stories.

But Perry’s emails are always refreshing and interesting. And now he’s given us Drew and this fascinating Facebook information.

Not sure how I can use this. It takes time for these kinds of ideas to percolate. But I’m very glad to have found this…and await vid4 with interest!
