Jonathan Cronstedt, better known as JCRON, was President of Kajabi, which grew 2,153% during his 5-year tenure, garnering a $550 million dollar investment and $2 billion dollar valuation. JCRON, now an author, investor and advisor, was the first person to accost me via text and purchase a ticket, before I’d written a sales page.
JCRON said:
“There aren’t many people that I’d drop everything and travel halfway around the world to spend time with…for Richard Koch I’d do so as often as he’d allow. The results he has achieved are tremendous, but they’re a small part of his peerlessness. There are plenty of billionaires with hundred-hour work weeks, and relationship carnage in their wake. How Richard has achieved similar results with a level of joy, service, peace, and leisure that few, if any, have ever achieved, that’s a life well lived.”
Then he added:
“Thank you, Perry. You introduced me to Richard back when you taught 80/20 right after my mortgage bankruptcy. It has changed my life profoundly and is now the framework for however much more of this life God gives me.”
Dear Entrepreneur and Investor:
What other Marketing Seminar boasts alumni as successful as these?
- Ed Harycki sold LoanBuilder to PayPal for a massive, life-changing sum
- Donny Wyatt cashed out of his biz, selling to his biggest competitor (plus Richard Koch predicted this 7 years before it happened)
- Tim Francis took one sentence that Richard said, added his own special sauce, and birthed a million-dollar company called Great Assistant
- Megan Macedo took Richard’s words to heart, developed a heart-string-tugging "be yourself" video that transformed her business and her life
- Jon Benson came to the microphone at Star 1.0 and announced his video sales letter software would someday be powered by AI; that product is now called BNSN and is taking the copywriting world by storm
- David Jellins, Australian entrepreneur, sold his thriving adventure company for 8 figures… then started a cryptocurrency firm, and took it public
- Michael Strickland took Richard’s Proposition Simplifier model, applied it to his Ship-a-Car-Direct company, and collected over 6000 raving reviews… with a formidable Moat around his castle
- Scott Marlow built Themeco into one of the biggest WordPress plugins in the world
- EJ Tahir built one of the most successful orthodontic practices in the Midwest United States
- Jim Siwek and partners sold their company and parachuted out with life-altering money
- Casey Graham cashed in so big when he sold Rocket Company that he was instantly bored and had to go out and find new adventures
- Roundtable & AMN alum Brady Roberts sold iCapture for life-changing money
- Some Roundtable alumni have sold their companies for life-changing money but prefer to remain unnamed to protect their privacy
The majority attended the first Star seminar or devoured the recordings. All gleaned wisdom from the fountain that is Richard Koch’s brain.
Many times it was just ONE single idea…one SENTENCE out of Richard’s mouth… that toppled a domino in their brain, setting off a chain reaction that led to $100,000, $1,000,000 and yes, even 9-figure payoffs!
Richard literally wrote the book on 80/20. Sold a million copies.
When he speaks, every word is packed with literally billions of dollars of potential.
Richard Koch is THE most underrated business author. He is one of the rare and special people in my life who has CONSISTENTLY been right year after year, decade after decade. Much like my science mentors James Shapiro, Denis Noble, Michael Levin, Azra Raza; and business mentors Dan Sullivan, Victor Cheng and the late Rob Berkley.
All underrated. All committed to slaying the beast at the bottom of the swamp.
This is Richard’s net worth, shown two ways: Linear scale on the left; log scale on the right:
Notice on the right graph, the smooth, almost linear path from below $1 million to $10 million to $100 million to $1 billion and beyond.
Notice: NO series of dips and spikes and bankruptcies.
Witness the lack of drama.
Pay heed to the consistency.
But that's not all.
Over the last 10 years, Richard has worked anywhere from one hour per day to at peak 2-3 days per week. I know because I’ve witnessed it firsthand.
In 2013 I visited Richard in person at his home in Portugal, spent three days. He really was working ONE hour a day. I would not have believed it had I not seen it myself.
I’ve been in the seminar / consulting / marketing / entrepreneur / business opportunity space for 30 years. I know everybody. I’m endorsed by the legends of the industry. I’ve seen EVERYTHING. Every kind of “passive income” “make money in your sleep” contrivance you can imagine. I’ve seen the Man Behind the Curtain many many many times.
The Man Behind The Curtain sometimes makes a very nice income.
But…
The Man Behind The Curtain is ALWAYS hustling. Constantly. With very rare exceptions.
Richard is NOT hustling. He steadfastly, resolutely, absolutely refuses to.
He wakes up around 7:30am, works on his investments for an hour.
Then a 3-hour bike ride is intrinsic to his wealth formula. He loads problems into his subconscious mind, then instructs it to process them. Then engages in physical pleasure in the outdoors.
Then lunch. Spends the afternoon reading, writing, thinking, perusing the news, formulating ideas beside his fishpond. NOT working.
Takes his dog for a walk, then dinner.
Spends the evening with his partner or friends.
Has a dozen homes around the world. Is a connoisseur of sunshine and the world’s most beautiful places…
…as his net worth grows 21.5% per annum per year, after tax. Compounded for 40 years.
A heavy week for Richard is 3 workdays. Or a trip. Richard is a Visiting Fellow of Wadham College, Oxford University. He recently spent four weeks there as a Fellow and will continue indefinitely as a Visiting Fellow.
Divide his gains in net worth by hours spent, and his time is worth $250,000 to $1 million per hour.
If you’re deducing that he’s not holding this seminar for the money, you’re correct.
If you’re concluding that $30,000 for a couple days with Richard’s is a bargain, you’re correct.
He’s doing this because he enjoys meeting and teaching new entrepreneurs. He believes entrepreneurs are in some sense the salvation of the world.
There is no person on earth you have access to that is more legit than Richard Koch. He’s got street cred to burn. That’s why I want you to come to Portugal in October and meet him… and the kind of people only an event of this caliber can attract.
SO WHAT’S NEW?
You’ve never witnessed Richard take a business apart and put it back together LIVE. This is a different level of event, not available anywhere else at any price.
And if you haven’t been in a room with Richard, you don’t know his Vibe.
The interesting thing about Richard is not that he’s a billionaire.
It’s that he’s a billionaire who does not work 100 hours a week; doesn’t have four ex-wives or a milk-jug of stress; has a Quality of Life far exceeding most wealthy elites.
If you’re successful, if you’re aiming for a level of Self Actualization, if you want to LIVE LIFE ON YOUR TERMS, Richard offers a completely different endgame than anyone else.
Tim Francis, an avid student of Richard Koch, teaches “The 5 Levels of 80/20.” From bottom to top:
- Personal – your habits and values; how you manage your life and relationships. It’s the foundation of everything.
- Skills – your working talents and technical skills. Most business and marketing books are “Level 2” training.
- Managing – How you delegate tasks to others & how you manage those people.
- Executive – Coordinating the moving parts of your business, including sales, finances, staffing, production.
- Investor – Reducing ALL the above to ONE number: Return On Investment.
Level 5 Investment by definition excludes any time you spend managing, meddling, politicking, counseling, consulting, handholding, wiping runny noses, playing patty-cake, babysitting, selling, marketing, and hustling.
It’s the top of the pyramid. The crème de la crème.
Level 5 Investor is the only 80/20 lever where it is possible to earn an almost infinite amount of money per hour. (Level 4 - business operator - has strict upper limits on income, and requires you to put in the hours. If you want time freedom, you need to graduate to Level 5 Investor. You do this by building a Star business and exiting.)
NVIDIA is exhibit “A” of a Star Business. Let’s say it took you 60 minutes to decide to buy $100,000 of NVIDIA stock 5 years ago. It would be worth $3.5 million now. You made $3.4 million per hour. With no managing, meddling, politicking, counseling, consulting, handholding, wiping runny noses, babysitting, selling, marketing, or hustling.
Level 5 is treacherous. It’s the place where you can lose EVERYTHING overnight. Get completely shafted. It’s a high-wire act with a terrifying trip to the bottom.
It’s why the secret to making money is to not lose money. This is why most VC and investment firms have platoons of MBAs, compliance departments, analysts, statisticians, family offices, bankers and lawyers.
Dreadfully dull suits who work all the freakin’ time, never enjoy long vacations, rarely see their kids, commit their entire lives to “the firm” and have high blood pressure, cholesterol-choked veins, toxic relationships, divorces, custody battles.
Most VCs still lose money 80-90% of the time.
Many are vacant shells who sold their souls to Wall Street eons ago.
Investment bankers: Have you ever gone to Ruth’s Chris Steak House and seen ‘em? Almost all are men. They were sitting at the next table eating steak. Their skin is pasty white; they wear ironed white shirts, black pants and shiny dress shoes. Clogged arteries. Conformists, every one of them. Terrified of what everyone thinks. Obsessed with spreadsheets. Vacant. No empathy, no conscience, no imagination, no soul.
Richard insists: “Spreadsheets lie.”
He doesn’t have employees. Instead, he has a handful of VC investor friends, an admin assistant named Ricardo, and a 35-year-old Hewlett Packard financial calculator.
(Are you paying attention? Re-read the above paragraph slowly. Stop and really consider what I just said.)
Star 2.0 is a Deep Dive into Level 5 mindset: How to responsibly and effectively delegate the entire task to Level 4 people and comfortably preside over the highest echelon of business.
Richard’s TRUE Superpower
Most people think Richard’s signature skill is identifying Star businesses. Nobody could argue with that. However, I think his capacity to do this stems from something even deeper:
Richard surveys 1,000 complex situations and pinpoints the handful of things they ALL have in common. In other words, he solves RIDDLES.
He demonstrated this skill in his Unreasonable Success book. He examines 20 extraordinarily successful people from diverse backgrounds, ranging from rock music to business consulting. Historical figures like Winston Churchill, industry titans like Steve Jobs, and cultural icons like Madonna. Vladimir Lenin and St. Paul make the cut.
Richard’s incisive analysis reveals nine pivotal factors ALL share in common.
Richard sat by his fishpond, and with leisure, read hundreds of books about influential historical figures to chisel the list down to 20 people, and his attribute list down to 9.
This is what Richard does… employing his extraordinary gift of pattern recognition… and a willful blindness towards the trivial.
Richard’s 2nd interview with Tim Ferriss
Richard appeared on the Tim Ferriss podcast not once but twice:
Do you have any question about the wisdom of attending this event? Listen to this interview very carefully. Don’t miss a word.
NOT an information fire hose
In the schedule below you see generous time allotted for casual conversations and networking. Most of the third day is a yacht trip on the Algarve. Richard insisted we do it this way.
When I first saw it, I told him, “When you come to one of my seminars, everyone is in the room. They’re not smoking a cigarette, not at the bar. They’re listening and taking notes. This schedule looks a little light. They’re going to expect more for their money. We should add more content over here, and a little over here.”
Richard replied, “Sorry – a firehose is not a wealth-savvy approach to learning and discovery. I’m not a marathon runner, I’m a sprinter. My best insights will come quickly in short bursts.”
He’s right. The million-dollar insights – the 80/20 levers that transform your $30,000 seminar investment into $2 million, $20 million, $200 million or $2 billion – appear in rapid bursts, often when you least expect them.
Likely in the form of questions, not answers… while you are relaxed, paying attention and enjoying yourself.
If you pay careful attention to Richard’s books, his interviews and blog posts… if you incline your ear and truly hear what he is saying… then you know he believes to an almost religious degree that life is intended to be enjoyed. Work should not and must not be slavery. 99% of the world has gotten this wrong.
You simply must decide to get off the hamster wheel.
You’ll get your money’s worth simply by being in a room with a billionaire who has 5X’d his net worth in the last decade… whose wealth has increased evenly over the last 40 years with very little drama.
He is not just an expert in one industry but worked 15 years as a consultant (as a co-founder of LEK, Richard has worked in hundreds of industries) and who, unlike most billionaires, is extremely gifted in explaining how he thinks and is generous with his advice.
Intimate Conversations
Star Principle 2.0 is designed for 22 participants, focusing on Star Business as the most effective entrepreneurial strategy on earth. We’ll help you identify whether your current business qualifies as a star, and if so, how great a star it is.
You’ll spend time with a billionaire with lots of space for questions and the best networking anywhere. Each of the other 21 participants is lively and smart.
For those already enjoying Star Businesses, we will guide you in optimizing for greatest profitability and growth. If your business is not currently a Star, we will explore how it can be transformed into one. Where such transformations are unrealistic, we will consider how selling your existing business and using liberated time and capital to create a new Star Business might be the best course of action.
We will provide insights from the perspective of a billionaire who has enjoyed creating and investing in Star Businesses. You’ll get a glimpse into the rewards of successfully applying the Star Principle.
You will explore how hard you're working and the hours you're putting in. Could you be making more money and enjoying life more by working smarter, not just harder? We want you walking out understanding how you can crush it in business while enjoying your life more.
It's not about success or happiness – it's about nailing both.
First day we’ll review the businesses in the room.
2nd day, hot seats will be selected by the participants, on the basis that they are interesting case examples.
Priceless Strategies for Investors
ALL entrepreneurs are investors. Not just in your own company, but in others – whether publicly available stocks or Angel / Venture Capital projects.
Richard has invested in and sold only a dozen companies, and made very large returns on seven. Five of those companies have returned 10X and more. And about a dozen other companies in which he has invested but not yet sold. About two dozen total in 40 years.
It does NOT take many Star Businesses to generate very high returns. One or two well-placed investments will change your life.
In stark contrast to those who frenetically obsess over investment newsletters and day trade and buy and sell cryptocurrency etc etc etc.
Eliminating ONE bad investment makes this event worth the entire trip.
If you’re not in a place where ONE elegant idea, well executed, can propel you to a new level, this event is not for you.
If, however, you sense how close a breakthrough can be… come. You will not be disappointed.
If you have to rob Peter to pay Paul, skip this.
Also… just because you can write a check for $30,000 doesn’t mean it’s a fit.
If your business is below $1 million or if you haven’t worked out your business model, it’s probably not for you.
This is for businesses that have:
- A proven concept with demonstrable market traction
- A clear understanding of their target market and value proposition
- The potential to scale significantly – 10x, 100x growth or more
- A large addressable market that can support such ambitious growth
- A robust business model that's ready for acceleration
If you already know your business could scale to $10 million or $100 million or more… if the market is large and the potential rewards are there, yet you feel like you’re “running in molasses”…
This IS for you.
If you make a comfortable income, I’ve got a question for you:
– What would happen if this seminar merely gave you a superior set of criteria for evaluating every marketing, sales and business opportunity you’re going to encounter in the next 10 years? (It will.) What if you don’t apply anything else but that? Would that be worth $30,000?
– What if this knowledge equips you to say NO to just ONE business you shouldn’t have gotten into? Or even not take ONE major customer you shouldn’t have taken? Or not invest in ONE company you shouldn’t have invested in?
– What if this event ONLY helps you understand much more clearly why your past victories succeeded, and why the failures failed?
– What if this ONLY grants you a brand new, 200,000-foot view of the entire landscape, which you did not possess before with your “normal” 10,000 foot and 40,000 foot views? What if it merely shifts your entire perspective to one that is more mature, more robust, more expansive?
Have you ever invested tens of thousands or millions and months or years into a business that, in hindsight, never had a snowball’s chance of working in the first place?
What if this seminar were to chop your chances of repeating that mistake in HALF?
I’ve received not one but THREE major mind shifts from Richard. (1) His 80/20 book; (2) his distillation of the Star Principle; and (3) his lifestyle, which requires minimal hands-on involvement with his investment targets.
ONE major mind shift is worth this kind of investment. I personally promise you’ll come away with at least TWO major mind shifts that you did not have.
The biggest, most impactful, most transformative thing you can immediately apply in your business is 80/20 Time.
Just to Be a Fly on the Wall
Even if you have zero interest in getting your own hot seat, you will be enthralled by the range of people in the room and the insights you glean from watching Richard deconstruct each case study. Why did he slice it that way? Why did he set aside or even ignore most of the description, and why did he obsessively drill into that one small aspect?
Star 2.0 is highly interactive. Each participant is invited to give an overview of their business. The group and speakers will vote on the six most-promising businesses.
On Day 2 Richard will analyze those businesses in detail, twisting the Rubik’s cube LIVE, demonstrating subtleties of business positioning and investment alchemy in a way that books and videos cannot capture.
Participants receive, if desired, the opportunity to consult with Richard and Perry privately about the position of their company on the Star Principle matrix and how to improve that position.
We will hold the event at a 5-Star hotel. The format affords generous networking opportunities including a yacht trip to the gorgeous coves of the Algarve. The event includes a visit to Richard's home.
Registration Investment: $30,000
We will send each participant detailed questionnaires and preparatory materials. Participants receive full recordings of the Star Principle 2014 event (which we still sell for $7500).
Recordings of the Portugal event will NOT be sold.
Let’s engineer real wealth together in Portugal – and seize the day.

What People Are Saying...
"This was the kind of information that nobody else in our world is talking about.
It’s exponential. It’s all about really positioning yourself and making your life easier, while at the same time, having a bigger impact in the world...
I highly encourage you to invest in this, because this’ll totally change your paradigm in ways that nothing else in our market will."
- Teddy Garcia, InfoMarketingSystems.com, North Carolina
"This will change how we ask all of our questions going forward. And the answers to the questions that we ask ourselves are probably going to increase our revenue 10 times."
- Adam Libman, Los Angeles California
"While most conferences talk about marketing and marketing your business, this focused on what type of business you should build to market.
And while there’s all kinds of seminars about working less, this focused on exactly what you should be doing to have a much greater impact in less time."
- Robert Skrob, AssociationMarketing.com, Tampa Florida
"What Richard and Perry talked about was a complete paradigm shift and made me realize that we don’t need more ideas - we know everything we need to know - we’re just not putting our focus in the right area.
And they shared a formula for achieving breakthroughs in your business and your market that are locked away in your head. They show you how to unlock that stuff and be in a position where you don’t have to worry about the competition because no one else is thinking like this.
So, if you get a chance to get your hands on this material at all, I recommend it more highly than any seminar I’ve ever been to before."
- Megan Macedo, The Business of Self Disclosure, London
"This seminar just blew my mind. I’ve been in the business 25 years. I’ve been learning from all the greats. I’ve learned so many different disparate things.
And what this event did, is it connected everything together – everything I've been doing for the past 25 years. All kids of things that have kind of been percolating in my brain for years – this gave me greater clarity on everything.
I also discovered that I was making a very big mistake I my own business, which I'm now going to rectify thanks to what I learned here."
- Paris Lampropoulos, World Renowned Copywriter, New Jersey
"I go to a lot of trainings. I have coached with some of the greatest, top-of-the-line coaches in the world for the last 20 years.
And I’ve got to say that this event was amazing. I can’t recommend it highly enough. You need to get this if you’re interested in having a business that’s going to smoke the competition – leave everybody in the dust by creating your own niche and being number one in that niche."
- Scott Keffer, Pennsylvania
"This seminar I was on the fence. I didn’t know- either it’d be really good or it’d be terrible. And it was actually fantastic. I have not heard from anyone else, the stuff that you get from Perry and Richard Koch."
- Rich Jacobs, Austin Texas
"What Perry’s brought to the table with Richard Koch is confronting, mind-bending, inspirational, and makes me think how can I 10X, 100X my business? Not just through techniques, and checklists, and new things to do, but new ways to think, to reformat, to reposition the business so I can grow to -and remain- number one in the category."
- Ari Galper, Unlock the Game, Sydney, Australia
"I’ve been a huge Richard Koch fan for years. I’ve read most of his books. And honestly, I was kind of wondering if there was going to be a lot of new stuff that I was going to learn?
And I'm happy to say that there was a lot. He really went deeper on a lot of the topics. There are a lot of new nuances that I came away with that made the seminar extremely valuable.
So, if you’re thinking of buying the videos, I would say definitely do it, because this is material that could absolutely change your business and change your life."
- Bill Harrison, BestSellerBrueprint.com, Philadelphia Pennsylvania
"Koch certainly doesn't disappoint. He uses established scientific principles and theories to simplify and explain the complex world of business, and it's magnificent. You’ll learn a hell of a lot about business, but you'll learn a hell of a lot about science, too."
- Dane Cobain, Writer
High Wycombe, United Kingdom

P.S. I was on a call with some of my Top Members. One guy said, “Perry I’m simply not paying $30,000 for a seminar. If you can give me a Top Member discount, or if you offer last minute seats for less, I’ll go. But $30,000 is just too much.”
I woke up this morning thinking about that.
The guy can afford it if he really wants to go. He has two successful businesses, he’s not broke by any stretch, and can write off the trip.
Still, I relate to what he said. I’ve had mentors. Many times I added up how much money I’d spent over the years. Sometimes I would say, “That guy’s gotten a LOT of money from me. This must really feed his ego. I think I’m just gonna sit tight on this one.”
What I failed to ask was:
“How much money has his guidance made me?”
“How many stupid mistakes has he prevented? How much further behind would I be had I not listened?”
Not to mention…
“How many other gurus and seminars sounded great but turned into a big, long, miserable, multi-year detour???”
I know a LOT of successful people. Several billionaires. Hundreds of brilliant authors and thought leaders. Nobel Prize winners. People in very high places.
Richard Koch gets more output for his input than ALL of them. He is the most financially astute guy you will likely ever meet.
As I write this, we’ve been telling our members about this event for 2 weeks. We haven’t even had a proper sales page [the sales page you’re reading now]. We’ve just been sending out links to a Google Doc.
We’ve sold 6 of the 22 seats. Paid in full.
This event WILL sell out.
The question is:
Are you going to grant yourself the honor and privilege of a new perspective ONLY Richard can give you?
Or are you going to let someone else seize the day?
Back to the guy who’s hesitating: Another Top Client emailed me 2 days ago and said:
I’ve thought long and hard about this.
Last night, I was thinking (again) that I need to put myself in more rooms where there are people I admire, people with qualities I find useful / attractive / valuable, and people who have achieved things that I aspire to achieve (even if the scale is somewhat different).
Such opportunities do not come up often. Access like this is rare and I believe I would regret not taking advantage of it.
Ring me up for the rest on the 3372 card. I’m going.
