TikTok is a controversial social platform that most business owners are afraid to touch.

1) TikTok beats Facebook when it comes to keeping people hooked to their phones

Advertising is all about grabbing attention.

The longer you can hook people in, the greater the chance of convincing them to buy something from you.

And that’s where TikTok excels… an average user opens the app 8 times a day.

Even first-time users find themselves dragged into a state of constant scrolling when they experience TikTok.

There’s this idea that trying to sell on TikTok is pointless unless you target the really young generation.

Well believe it or not, in the US, 37.4% of the users are between 30 and 50+ years old.  That’s almost half of all the users.


And that’s not all…

29.5% of the users are between 20 and 29 years old.

Generally speaking, people over 22 are viable prospects for most businesses. That means more than half of the users can become paying customers depending on what you have to offer.


3) TikTok Ads > Facebook Ads

Good content that does well organically can be turned into ads for pennies on the dollar compared to Facebook.

TikTok is not going away in the near future, but the bigger this platform grows, the harder it will be to advertise on it.

Running ads on Facebook back in 2010 doesn’t compare to running ads now.
