If you are less than 100% competent with AdWords – if you possess anything less than total confidence; if the very mention of ‘Google AdWords’ makes you nervous instead of putting a smile on your face; if you cannot “wear” Google like a comfortable pair of slippers or your favorite T-shirt…
Then it’s time to solve that problem RIGHT NOW.
I’m starting a completely new program, AdWords Boot Camp, on Tuesday June 9. It’s a 30 day “summer school” and mentoring program where you’ll come out the other side fully prepared for battle.
Yes, even if you’re just a beginner.

I know that you are sold out, but if you have any openings can you please allow one more?
I am pretty advanced in my use of adwords. I spend $6,000 a month profitably. I have done lots of split testing my landing pages and ads. I have customised ads and landing pages to individual adgroups. I let people take my newsletter or ask a question or buy a book. All of this allows me to build a list and maintain a dialogue with my prospects. I get an average of 5% CTR with up to 25% on some ads. My campaigns are linked through to my order processing CRM system so that I can see the activity and lifetime value of every keyword used as well as see the history of every prospect and customer. I am sure there is more for me to learn always, but will this course do that?
Leo,
I believe that if you sign up for the Gold option, Sunny can find opportunities you’re missing in just a couple of coaching calls, and all the good stuff you have in place will be just that much more powerful. The fact that you’re spending $6K/month means a 10% improvement will pay for your tuition in 3 months and then be positive ROI ever after.

I will have limited time during your boot camp. Will I be able to access your material after the 30 days are past?
Yes you will, you’ll get the MP3’s, transcripts and course materials and can refer back to them at will. Just yesterday I talked to a spring 09 Bobsledder who finally got his business to profitability from listening to the MP3’s and tweaking his system. He had been in pure startup mode prior to that and this guy was in a rockin’ good mood.
Perry,
I am active with CPAs,(mostly lead generation) & I use Adwords with moderate success. Average monthly spend is a little over $1000 & I am reasonably profitable. I feel like there is much more potential but am stuck at this level. Can your Boot Camp help me with a CPA business?
Bill,
If you are spending $1000/month and are reasonably profitable then you have climbed the most difficult part of the mountain, and yes your business can be scaled up.
Either: By getting more traffic, if it is available for those offers, or by replicating the process with other offers.
Both are probably possible.
So yes, Boot Camp would help you with your CPA business.
Perry
Perry,
I’m very interested in your AdWords Boot Camp but will be unable to participate for 10 days of the 30. And since my day job consumes 50-60 hours / week, I’m hesitant to sign up because it would be very difficult for me to catch up and get the value I know I should get.
Will you offer this boot camp again later this year? If I know more in advance, I could plan around it.
We will likely hold the Boot Camp another time in the future. I can’t say if it will be this year or not.
Will this cover the “important update to your adwords account” email regarding the new interface and “improvements” to adwords that google sent me today?
Yes, we will cover the new AdWords interface.
Hi Perry,
Right now, I’m just doing affiliate stuff and, frankly, failing miserably. In fact, I’ve paused my Adwords campaign. I’m hoping to move on to my own products, but that won’t happen before this course happens. But, even given all this, I would just really like to nail down Adwords. Given my situation, do you think that taking this course would be worthwhile for me?
Thanks-
Mary
Mary,
Affiliate stuff requires choosing good affiliate programs as well as angles for promoting them. This ONLY covers the Adwords side of the fence. We can definitely help you with HALF the equation – can’t speak for the other half.

Hi Perry~
I handle all of the advertising and marketing for a used car dealership in town. As you know, the auto business is very competitive with Google Adwords. I currently spend $700/mo with Google adwords. I would love to run through your boot camp, but am unsure that it will really benifit me in this business. Do you have any thoughts on the Auto Business. Thanks. Brian
Brian,
I’ve had customers in the auto business do very well selling things like auto loan applications etc. I haven’t had a local car dealership but that doesn’t say much because very few of my serious students have an exclusively local focus, most are nationwide.
I know that if I type in “2007 Toyota Avalon” here in Chicago I see generalized ads not specific offers. And very few local advertisers. That says a lot right there. If you have highly targeted local ads with current offers, the competition will be weak by comparison. In general, local search is NOT highly competitive in any market, not by my standards. “In the land of the blind the man with one eye gets to be king.”
I don’t know how much traffic is available in your market but I know the ROI would be very good on what clicks you do buy.

My work schedule conflicts with your published training schedule. I would literally need to MP3 the entire training program! Is this a prudent approach?
I am still one of those with a day job!
anxious to learn and experience some consistent success.
Have you considered having a membership site with a series of step by step self paced instructional videos illustrating how to become more of an expert with adwords?
Thanks
Rich
Rich,
We have Team Action Groups and 1-on-1 call slots available in the evening. We will also be posting the MP3’s pretty quickly after the large group calls are done. So the only thing you would miss would be live Q&A during the group sessions. Also you would only miss 3 of the four sessions because one of the group calls will be 7pm CST (the third one).
Perry
Perry,
I have one important question: How can I be sure that Adwords will help me to sell more to my customers? Or: do you think Adwords is suitable also for B2B companies? Reason for my question is this: I built up 2500+ list using Adwords in less then a month offering free case study video and free online training course (www.hercon.nl). At the moment I offered new product against payment, I sold nothing though there was no mismatch between the free and paid products. That’s why I have doubts about whether I can find my target group using Adwords.
Regards,
Peter
Peter,
AdWords is absolutely applicable to B2B. That does not guarantee that you can find your target group using AdWords in your specific situation; you have to figure that out for yourself. But here are some things I would look at:
-Are your competitors consistently showing on AdWords all the time, or do they come and go? Constant churn is a bad sign.
-What are your competitors selling and do you know that they are selling it?
-What is the “back end” sales strategy of your competitors? Are they selling a $50 product up front and a $20,000 consulting package later on? That’s often what’s going on. And in B2B the sales cycles are usually much longer.
-Are the opt-ins you get real companies with real budgets and real money to spend?

My brother and I are looking forward to it. I don’t think you can ever get too good at adwords so we are always up to learn more.
What percentage of your course will be about the content network?
Jane,
About 1/3 of our time will be devoted to Content. Lots to explore there!
