Interview #1: Joshua interviews me – and I talk about TWO crucial things:
1. An ultra-simplified picture, a widget, a visual tool you can use to dramatically SHRINK the size of the marketing job in front of you. In the middle of the call we give out a link. A super-handy 1-page PDF that takes the entire marketing challenge and reduces it to six questions.
2. The internal resistance, the fear you feel, the procrastination and the head demons that suddenly attack when you’re about to make a breakthrough

MP3 DownloadInterview #2: I interview Joshua, and he talks about TWO crucial things:
1. The extreme danger of run-of-the-mill “positive thinking” and how it gives entrepreneurs severe whiplash. And a simple, instantly applicable “acid test” you can apply to nearly any situation that insulates you from the whiplash factor. (We did this interview for an audience via teleseminar on Friday and while we were on the line I got this blog comment:
“I’m on your last-min call with Joshua right now. I’m glad I heard you and Joshua today. This concept has plagued me my whole 57 yrs of living. I grew up thinking that the way my elders understood the world was still right and I was simply rebellious. Then I went out and found gurus to continue the dichotomy. Well, in the past year I’ve come to the same conclusions that you and Joshua explored today.…”
2. Joshua describes his meandering path and biz-op nightmare and describes the day the puzzle pieces fell into place. Really is a great story.

Thanks for sharing something that I can relate so much to but can’t find anyone to share it.
Remembering the first time I buy an ebook, the first time I sign up for a local internet business workshop, the first time I invest USD2000 on an internet business. I literally shiver and barely could hold a glass of water at that moment of decision. (Though it’s not a big sum of money)
My wife would notice that and say “What’s wrong? It’s just a decision.” I guess my wife is one who has no resistance in going for her dreams, the 5% that Perry mentioned. I’m blessed to have someone who supports & believes in me so much. That’s why there’s more pressure and anxiety in me that I do not want to disappoint her.
Another thing is that I could not focus on the project at hand. I do little of this, a little of that. Hey, this program seems to be better. Or maybe I should try that instead. Changing course halfway, jump into totally different directions. Now you’ve brought it up and it just bang my head “Stop it!”
Thanks for sharing something so affirming and comforting. Everybody deserves success and abundance, we just need to embrace it!
wow man that was the most amazing and inspiring dialog! be sure & put
that master tape in a time capsule, its value strikes me as being of
universal importance to humanity
i am very interested in this program – joshua’s
story was so powerfully engaging, so recognizable
as one’s own story
i do not doubt for one second now the great value of this mentoring
for persons who have been struggling at marketing for many years with
little outward success
i work at artcamp it studio for a jewelry production cooperative and
we are launching revolutionary new world women artisan-owned direct
distribution model program at this time even though my dominant
marketing philosophy has always been very firmly based on wishful
thinking
even if we are doing this alone, we are not alone as Perry’s website
has always been a help
Best wishes amigos & God bless you

“Is’s” Versus “Ought to’s” Theory
The degree of complications in an individual’s life corresponds to his insistence on dwelling on the way he thinks the world ought to be rather than the way it actually is.

Perry,
I stay on task by spending 1 hour on task and “rewarding” myself when the task is done by taking 10-20 minutes doing the things my little voice tried to get me to do before. Like read emails, and listen to interviews like this!

I would love to see a transcript of this interview since I am deaf myself.

let me see what can be done in terms of payment
the craftswomen have more than ten thousand dollars of high quality finished product to sell however i dont know that the immediate cash is available, however… perhaps… if i can not participate at this time, i intend to do so later – when all their little capital is tied up in jewelry to market to retail stores oct & nov.

Great recording Perry.
It’s amazing to think how much we can hold back ourselves without meaning to do so.
If you think about out Perry that first sales letter for the Bobsled Run was an extreme example of the 80/20 rule: the $1 million dollars/hour job.
