Melvin Pillay grew up in abject poverty during apartheid in South Africa, a son of East Indian parents.

His family’s dreams of escaping poverty were shattered when his older brother, who was in law school, died in a drowning accident.

Here, Melvin tells the story of the turning point in his sales career.

Today he’s VP of Global Sales at the Zig Ziglar company, not only training sales staff in multinational corporations, but consulting high level government officials around the world as well.

  1. Omg I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Melvin today and what a wonderful and blessed experience it was.. He is a very funny,friendly and Great man of God..Just to be in the room with him and hear him speak was life changing. As he prayed for us he remained me of my Right as a woman of God, it’s ok the know who u are in Christ Jesus. I look forward to reading his book.
