We’re on the brink of another Google (and Yahoo) Slap . This time it’s about email delivery.

** If email plays any role in your marketing strategy, you need to pay attention. **

Google and Yahoo have announced new email authentication requirements, effective February 1, 2024.

The consequences of not complying are severe.

If your emails aren’t properly authenticated by February 1st, they will very likely end up in spam folders – or worse, not get delivered at all.

This is huge. Imagine your email open rate suddenly plummeting to 5-10%…

Which is why I asked Adrian Savage, co-founder of EmailSmart, to record a quick video giving you a rundown of the authentication requirements and the simple step you can take to determine whether you’re compliant (and what to do if you’re not).

Check the video below – then click the link under the video to use Adrian’s free Authentication Checker to quickly check your email authentication setup.

February 1 is right around the corner – don’t put this off.

P.S. Adrian has helped my team stay on top of email best practices for years. He’s brilliant and if you need help in this area, you won’t find anyone better.
