Listen to Finn Peacock’s story (63 minutes) or download MP3
Finn Peacock of Australia is one of the graduates of my personal AdWords coaching “Bobsled Run.” He’s an engineer turned entrepreneur, who started out selling a highly technical e-book on a very specialized topic. (“PID Loop Tuning” in case you’re wondering.)
After polishing his marketing campaigns he exceeded his income as an engineer, and essentially saturated his tiny market.
All of this is completely automated with Google ads, to the point where he’s barely touched that business in 2 months. It runs on autopilot.
With so much time now free, he has now entered a 2nd market – completely different from the first – with very high traffic and high income potential.
He has doubled his income AGAIN.
The ability to build multiple streams of income, each of which operates on Autopilot, is a supremely liberating achievement.
Most entrepreneurs don’t want to be liberated just so they can sit on the beach and eat bon-bons every day. That’s fun for a week or two but it gets old.
Most of the entrepreneurs I know hunger for adventure and what they want most from their business is something that frees them to pursue more adventures.
Isn’t it nice when Business #1 throws off cash that you can use to build Business #2 – and then once that’s going you can build Business #3?
That’s a lot more secure than just having one.
I highly recommend it. Think that way. And whatever you do, make Marketing On Autopilot your #1 priority.

Just curious … last month Nick Fox, Google’s business product management director for AdWords, gave the keynote address at SES San Jose.
One of the things he talked about was … “Paid Search without Keywords.” Here is a link to a summary: http://searchengineland.com/coming-soon-paid-search-without-keywords-25312
Perry, what do you make of something like this?

Google will ALWAYS try to make their base level tools smarter than the average bear.
But “artificial intelligence” (which is the goal but which does not exist) is always programmed from the bottom up, not top down the way humans think. So a person can ALWAYS do better than an algorithm – especially if he has the algorithm at his disposal.
It’s like in the science fiction movies – people can always outsmart the bots.

Hey,
I’m listening to this call right now on my ipod. I have to attest to the fact that you can not depend on a government job. I used to work as a fitness instructor for my city in Oregon. I was their “go to guy” and did wayyy outside my job. Including – setting up the audio equipment for the gym, creating spread sheets to track the comings and goings from the gym, designing 90% of the flyers for the classes (where I wasn’t allowed to use my copy writing skills, but that’s another story), helping out with swim meets, doing inventory, training folks to do my job, training people to run classes, and etc. The city accountant was out to “slice my fingers off” as you say. He saw my income as totally expendable. He finally got rid of me because the City needed to make cuts because the real estate licenses weren’t coming in, so the revenue was way down (so he found the loophole to kill the guy who was doing 90% of the work in the fitness department). So, guess what? They cut me off. I’ve been out of work for 9 months now and drawing unemployment and trying to run my business on a mere $250 a week plus take care of 2 kids and a wife. It’s difficult, but I’m making it work thanks from good advice from you. You get a click, figure out how to make it turn into a sale, and then replicate it. (Because of my loss of my job, I’ve had to pair way down to who I listen to, and to be honest, 90 percent of the success I have is because I listen to Perry 90% of the time plus guys like Glenn Livingston and David Bullock).
No job is safe, what’s safe is learning how to make a sales funnel work, and getting good advice. Thanks, Perry and team.
I’m looking forward to making crazy amounts of money so I can become a bobsled member.
Scott,
Can’t wait to see your story as it unfolds. Keep the hammer down.

I’m on your last-min call with Joshua right now because your schedule speaker was unavailable. I’m glad I heard you and Joshua today. That “what is” vs “what should be” concept has plagued me my whole 57 yr of living. I grew up thinking that the way my elders understood the world was still right and I was simply rebellious. Then I went out and found gurus and pastors and MLMs to continue the dichotomy. Well, in the past year I’ve come to the same conclusions that you and Joshua explored today. You guys have the credibility and the systems to package a business/life course like Eben Pagen has done with dating and sell it to the HUGE population that is suffering from choosing “should be” in life and business. Go for it!
