Have you ever said this to yourself:
“I wish I had been doing this 3-4 years ago when things were so much easier.”
“They just don’t make things like they used to.”
“Everything is so much more competitive right now.”
Today I’m going to give you a mental “reset button,” so that whenever you catch yourself thinking this, you can interrupt an unproductive thought with a more productive one.
Here’s the reset button:
Look at your watch – or the corner of your computer screen. Watch the seconds tick by:
:00 5,000 people just searched Google
:01 5,000 more people just searched Google
:02 5,000 more people just searched Google
:03 5,000 more people just searched Google
:04 5,000 more people just searched Google
…and most of them did NOT find what they were looking for. Even the ones that had money in their pocket that they were ready to spend.
This IS true, is it not?
As long as it’s true, there’s an opportunity for you to make more money online.

And they can’t buy from you if you can’t be found, whether it’s Google adwords or SEO and natural search.
I have read some of your writing, it is pretty good.
If these people are like most of the people I know, They are typing thinks like “Youtube”, “Facebook”, and “Yahoo” into the Google search.
Hey Perry,
I’m a “newbie” on the internet. After months of information overload. I have decided to take my 7 years of day trading experience and create info products.
I have been reluctant to use google adwords for promotion because of the obscene costs. What do you think of this mind set? I mean how can a guy like me make a buck where the average click is $7-9?
Then the advice I get from people is start out in a smaller cheaper niche and work your way up… I have no knowledge or experience, let alone interest, in other “smaller” niches.
I have spent so much money learning recycled crap that I’m not sure what to do. Will this Definitive Guide help me stand a chance in the day trading niche?
Cheers,
Rishi Pathani
Rishi,
Day trading is EXTREMELY competitive and if you’re brand new, you’ll get murdered unless you find some less competitive keywords where you can stick your toe in the water. I would suggest you at least find a niche within that niche.
In any case you should NOT attempt this without buying an up to date guide. Whether you get mine, or Howie Jacobson’s, or Andrew Goodman’s, every single penny you spend on AdWords education will save you dollars on actual Google clicks. You can take that to the bank. I can assure you the Definitive Guide is not recycled crap.
