On this recording, Matthew Gillogly and I explore:
-Financial binge/purge cycles (hint: they might have to do with thinking you have to ‘prove something’ at a deep level – and if you don’t get out of the loop, all the marketing or financial wizardry in the world won’t fix it)
-The deep connection between addictions, money and dark family secrets
-My own very discouraging foray into this world, a ton of experimentation with everything from 12-Step to tapping acupressure points, and eventually, HUGE discoveries.

Hey Perry,
You guys really did a great job on the webinar yesterday. Good stuff. I am also a Christ Follower so your whole MO resonates with me. I am a very beginner Internet Marketer so when I read or hear your stuff I feel like an elementary school kid in a college classroom but I enjoy it nonetheless. I didn’t realize until I typed it that nonetheless is actually one word but spell check let it go so I’m rolling with it. Even though I may not implement specific strategies right now I try to get inside your head and see how you think and approach the whole deal. I am sure that I will work with you (or your material) at some level in the (hopefully) near future. I am a chiropractor and have been for 25 years and still enjoy it but marketing has always been a very fun part of practice so the whole IM thing has been a fun learning experience so far. I’ve only been at it 4 or 5 months and really enjoying it so far.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for what you do and how you inspire us out here. I hope I’m the other guy that raised his hand! Lol And to let you know that although I have spent zero dollars with you (I’m sure you’re glad to hear that!) I have gained much from you already.
Your Brother in Christ,
Matthew Durham
Hi Perry —
I’m very interested in your Financial Sozo seminar on June 1-2 but I can’t come to Chicago. I am a dialysis patient and traveling is a pain in the ass. Would it be possible for me to participate by Skype or phone or webinar?
I’ve been doing IM since about 2004 — with very meager success. I would very much like to have financial success with this.
Please get back to me.

Miracles are around us all the time, but you have to know what to look for. One example is a seed.
Something that is apparently inert and will keep for anything up to ten years (or more). Put it in some soil and water it just a little – and a miracle happens. It will grow. Give the seed the right conditions and it will spring into life.
Remember that everything you eat has grown*. The plate of food that sits in front of you is – quite literally – a miracle. How is it that a seed planted upside down will still sprout a root that goes downwards? The leaf upwards? How is it that something so tender as that infolding of leaves at the tip of a plant can grow upwards with such energy?
Tear away all the statistics. Tear away all those logical arguments that cover plants with sensible answers to all those unknowns – and you have miracles. Which is, after all, what a miracle is. It is that reality that we can’t know through dissection or statistical analysis.
Put some beauty back into your world.
*Okay, so there are the mineral trace elements – but these are always more effective as collagens. That is to say, when they are already absorbed into the living parts of the plant or animal.
Thanks Perry, I will enjoy it.
