In June, Teresa Sedmak, who owns Everbrite, a chemical coatings company, joined our AdWords Boot Camp course. She reports:

“The changes we made to AdWords lowered the cost and raised the CTR in just the first few weeks. The cost was much higher when I first started.

“We have been in business for 20 years and on the web for over 10 years so this is not a new start-up where huge percentage increases are commonplace. Since Adwords Bootcamp, we have had more orders than ever before.

“Our website sales for July were up 309% over this month last year. I can only attribute that to the changes in our adwords account and from what I learned in the Adwords Bootcamp.

“There are still many more changes I need to make to improve the performance of our adwords account. I am currently improving the way we communicate with all our new customers and potential customers as well as our entire list. But that’s a whole other report …

“Once again, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!”

She then went on to join our Autoresponder Bootcamp where she made more improvements.

Teresa would get on our group calls and when people would ask her what she did, she would explain about her chemical coatings and how they made metal last longer.

Not exactly a glamorous business. Everbrite just solves very ordinary problems in a definite way.

I submit to you that the most “ordinary” businesses are the ones that stand to improve the most. In fact, the more “boring” to an outsider, the more it’s possible to delight and surprise your customer.

In my Dilbert Cube days I worked for a company that sold industrial communications equipment – stuff you could barely explain to a non-engineer.

But to a person who had to solve that problem, a visit to our website was the beginning of a conversation that eventually made bells go off and light bulbs go on. Because we had a unique approach to their painful problem.

In personal AdWords coaching we not only boost your traffic and your Click Thru Rates but we sharpen your message and hit your customer’s passionate Sweet Spot.
